Students conduct a Biodiversity Audit.

McGuire VCAL students conducted a biodiversity audit along the river at Broken River Drive. They assessed habitat quality of the riverine grassy woodland, looking at large tree numbers, canopy cover, understory species, weediness, recruitment, organic litter and logs. Students calculated the values using the Department of Sustainabilty and Environment assessment sheet.
