RiverConnect participated in the ever growing KidsFest again this year.

KidsFest is one of the largest regional events held in Victoria with over 15,000 people on average visiting KidsTown during the two day event.

The RiverConnect stall recieved a large volume of traffic with many locals and visitors able to get up close and personal with a variety of live bugs and spiders and a range of bird, termite and moth nests. Kids were also able to see a range of gliders and bats in detail with the Goulburn Murray Landcare Networks taxidermy animals.

Solar bug displays and the Wangaratta City Councils Sustanibility tralier provided great entertainment for the kids, while plant give aways and the Watts Working Better Streetlight project display were tailered toward mum and dad.

Thanks to Goulburn Murray Landcare Network, Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority, Greater Shepaprton City Council and Wangaratta City Council staff who assisted on the lead up to and over the KidsFest weekend.
