RiverConnect led an Environment Night at Mooroopna Venturers on Monday 1 September

RiverConnect Spotlight Walks Guide Wendy, met with the Mooroopna Venturers (Scouts) on this wet and windy Monday night to teach them about native wildlife in our local area. They we were introduced to the Goulburn Murray Landcare Network taxidermy animal collection including a Squirrel Glider, Feather-Tailed Glider, Kookaburra, Antechinus and a couple of local micro-bat species. The venturers ‘ventured out’ between rain showers for a quick spotlight walk to learn about suitable habitat for these native species.
