DRAFT RIVERCONNECT PATHS MASTER PLAN OPEN FOR FEEDBACK

RiverConnect is seeking your feedback about what you feel are the highest priority path extensions across the Goulburn and Broken River floodplains between Shepparton and Mooroopna.

Five new routes have been investigated between Shepparton and Mooroopna.

The overall objective of the project is to develop a master plan which meets community and local agency needs and expectations regarding connectedness and accessibility to the floodplain environments.

Specific objectives include:
 - An increase in new and upgrades to existing infrastructure within the SheppartonRegional Park
- An increased connectedness of communities within Shepparton and Mooroopna
- An increase in tourism opportunities
- Improved community wellbeing
- An increased opportunity for a greater appreciation and understanding of the natural and cultural environments
- Provide Council with a guiding document to drive implementation

The Draft RiverConnect Paths Master Plan is avaliable for your reveiw.

A summary document has also been provided to give a brief overveiw of the draft plan.
